Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team and driven to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and impressive baobab trees. This drive takes about 2 hours, allowing you to enjoy scenic views of Tanzania’s lush countryside. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll encounter various wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests, along with an array of bird species. The park’s ecosystem offers a unique blend of dry savannah, acacia woodlands, and wetlands that attract large wildlife populations, making it an excellent introduction to the region’s biodiversity. After your game drive, you will check into your lodge or tented camp, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart Tarangire and journey toward the Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous safari destinations in the world. This journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, with a stop for lunch along the way. Serengeti is known for its vast, open plains, and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and thousands of zebras and gazelles, making it the perfect spot to witness Africa’s wild beauty. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive through the Serengeti, where you may encounter the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The Serengeti’s wildlife density is unmatched, and you’ll likely spot predators on the hunt and large herds of herbivores.

In the evening, check into your chosen lodge or camp in the Serengeti, where you can unwind after a day of exploring the wilderness. Enjoy a delightful dinner under the stars, and if the sky permits, you may witness a magnificent African sunset.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater and Departure
On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti to capture the wildlife in the soft morning light. This is a great time to see predators such as lions and cheetahs out on the hunt, as well as observe early-morning animal behavior. After breakfast, you’ll drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers a rich wildlife experience within a collapsed volcanic caldera. The journey takes about 3 hours, and upon arrival, you’ll descend into the crater floor for an exhilarating game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a large population of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, lions, buffalo, and a variety of bird species. The unique ecosystem of the crater provides excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and up-close animal encounters.

After a game drive and lunch in the crater, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, where your safari experience ends. Depending on your flight time, you can either head to the airport for your onward journey or extend your stay in Tanzania.

Overnight: Stay in Arusha or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
